GP8 is an awesome piece of tablature editing and playback software, and it is also a very useful tool for beginner guitarists learning to play the guitar, therefore I recommend all my students get it.

This Guitar Pro tutorial will NOT cover the tons of features that take quite some time to learn and master since that would take too long and not be of much use to my online students.

This tutorial WILL, however, cover the most useful things you'll be using, the things that will help you learn the guitar. You'll be glad to know that just by familiarizing yourself with some basic concepts and tools, you'll be able to use GP to help you advance your skills and learn to play all the songs you want.

So sit back, watch the lesson below, and you'll be well on your way to learning how to make the most of GP.

The Guitar Pro tutorial is split into 2 parts to make them easier to digest.

The first part deals with a basic overview of the GP main screen, and the second part covers the GP tools beginner guitarists will find of much use.
