|E 9 Augmented chord intervals and notes|
|Intervals||1 - 3 - #5 - b7 - 9|
|Notes in E 9-aug||E - G# (Ab) - C - D - F# (Gb)|
9 aug chords have a sharpened 5th degree note, making them unstable, needing to be resolved to a stable chord.
Here are 6 voicings of the E9-aug guitar chord, with a chord chart to each voicings' fingering.
Notice that the root note of a chord will be it's main, and lowest note. However, this will not be true for chord inversions.
When learning chords, try not looking at your fretting fingers after a while, since you'll need to be able to form the chord without peeking.
