The 11th Chord is less common than the 9th. It is formed by adding a the 11th (4th) to a dominant 9th chord (1 2 3 5 b7) to form 1 2(9) 3 4(11) 5 b7. If the 3rd is omitted is sometimes called a 9sus4.
