|C Minor 7 chord intervals and notes|
|Intervals||1 - b3 - 5 - b7|
|Notes in C m7||C - D# (Eb) - G - A# (Bb)|
The m in m7 refers to the chord being a minor chord, and the 7 refers to the added dominant 7th degree note. Don't confuse this with just 7 chords, since those are major chords.
Here are 6 voicings of the Cm7 guitar chord, with a chord chart to each voicings' fingering.
Dead strings and fret buzzing means you are not holding down the guitar chord correctly. Stop, check your fingers, and start over.
You can practice changing between chords in your head when you are at the office, on the train, or wherever. This may sound silly, but it really helps remember those chords.
